2013 PETER J. LAVERY MEMORIAL RUN
The 9th Annual MPO Peter J. Lavery Memorial Run was held on Sunday, Sept.
15, 2013. This event started and ended at Churchill Park, located at 1991
Main Street, Newington, CT. It featured an opening ceremony with Sue Lavery Hilerio singing the National Anthem and Pat Whelan from the CT State Police
Pipes and Drums on the bagpipes. At the conclusion of the ride, lunch was
provided by Stew Leonard’s and music was provided by Shark Entertainment.

and knowledge to help us put on a well organized ride each year.

our event. Without all of you, we would not be able to raise the funds for the
Peter J. Lavery Memorial Scholarship Fund, Inc.
A thank you also to Sam's Club and Newington Price Chopper for their donation of
gift cards.
The committee wishes the thank Jimmy and Craig Brown of Maguires Sports Bar for
helping for the first 7
years. We wish them much success in their new business venture. You will still
see them and their crew assisting with the food preparation at Churchill Park.
